July 2016

July 2016 I think this is like post number 89 on this blog or something crazy like that lol and it's all just our everyday life stuff...that's the stuff that makes up life really, it's not the big major events but the small everyday things we sometimes miss out on while looking for the big stuff :) I'm thankful I can walk through some of our everyday moments each month as I share them with you!

One of her favorite places EVER, a local water park...where she immediately gets hungry as soon as she SEES the water.

My first attempt at baked beans...like seriously homemade from dry beans, homemade barbecue sauce, hand cut bacon on top, homemade baked beans that have to cook in the oven for like 5 hours or something like that! They were ok.  It was worth it for the 4th of July celebration with some friends.  None of us are super patriotic or anything but having a good reason to get together and make food we've not had in a long time made for a sweet time.  My gas went out after these were in the oven for two hours sooooo they weren't quite the softness we were hoping for as they sat on the plate beside the corn on the cob, mac and cheese, potato salad, hotdogs, oh and shashlik (that one is meat grilled on stick; it's a local fav)

Her laugh is so precious to us.  And he is a good sport to entertain her whims sometimes :)

William is quite the creative "builder man" and can build almost anything with legos and here we see he is also quite creative in making a "train" out of anything that is available.

just a little lady looking out the car window reading her letter.

ok so, if you've been in another country for 21 months and one of your all time favorite breakfast meals back home was an egg mcmuffin (the ONLY thing you'd likely ever want from McDonald's) and you see this sign at a local restaurant...you get quite excited and you order one.  Well, I did anyway....and then when you see what comes out, you remember that these folks are great with photoshop and there are no rules against using anyone's pictures anywhere they want...you look at what was supposed to be your Muffin Egg Cheese sandwich thing and realize you have a fried egg, thin hamburger patty, on a regular hamburger bun...took one bite just to check, and had to throw the rest away.  Yes it was a sad day for this lady.  I might have recovered by now.

She is full of life

Wearing their sunglasses just like Uncle J (aka Josh) does.

Just a little painting of a barn with a door and a loft, sun and sky are extras for this little man

If it looks like he is wearing the same shirt in almost every picture, it is not because the pictures were taken on the same day...it is because his spider man shirt from Gramm and Pop in America is his favorite shirt of all time and he is often looking for it and wanting to wear it when he realizes it is on the drying rack and can't be worn until the next day.  I'm not sure how long it will last at the rate at which we have to wash it, but I'm glad it's made with quality materials and stitching or it wouldn't have made it this long! :) All smiles

Our 4th of July dinner

William is working on his words even while playing outside. He was so proud of these! (Yes, he had some help with the hard letter sounds, he's not even five yet people)

Jeremy went to a business expo and saw this coolness!

Watermelon yummy

May the Lord bless you with more of Himself,
