We went back to Uzbekistan for the first three weeks of July to pack and say our goodbyes to our lives and friends there.  These were tear filled as we processed our lives since 2014 there coming to a close.  We were blessed by the people we met and grew to love there.  Our kids loved their lives there and were all doing well.  So it was quite difficult to get to a place where we knew Jeremy and I needed to make some major changes that would include uprooting our family yet again. We had gotten used to living under extreme levels of stress and slowly over time let some really bad habits of life thrive while parts of our marriage and personal lives were being killed.  We are thankful God led us to move, yet it was very hard for all of us.  We are thankful for the time we had there, the friends we got to love and be loved by.  For the opportunity to learn the language of the Uzbeks and live and work among the people there, we will always be thankful.  AND we are thankful for the peace we had even while closing that chapter of our lives.  We will never be the same because of the experience we had in Uzbekistan.  We will always have friends there to pray for and a place in our hearts will always be occupied by those people who impacted our lives forever.  We are now in Columbus, GA and have begun to rebuild a life here.  We are living at temporary home so graciously and generously allowed by our home church and we are so thankful we have been given the time and resources to return and try to land well and readjust well.  We are working on many areas of concern and have taken seriously the counselors' recommendations, and we are seeing our God meet us here and now.  We are walking by faith into an unknown future, but with the guidance of a known God who loves us and cares for us enough to never give up on us.
