November 2016
Pictures this month will be a bit out of order, but :) that's ok!
Kaitlynn learning to make a sandwich at Russian preschool

Leaving Bangkok, heading to Chiang Mai to wait for Baby Charlotte's arrival!

Just reading the safety cards...priorities!

A precious package arrived from some precious friends!!

They were and still are sooo excited to have gotten special gifts from Sam and Charlotte (and their sweet parents!!) from America!

On the bus going around the Chiang Mai Zoo, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, just eating a little snack from his package :)

PANDA...reminds me of my sweet friend Christy :) love and miss her. This panda is one of two in this country and they are pretty famous around here.

Kaitlynn's favorite part of the zoo was the "bajraffes" which to the rest of us are known as giraffes. She got to feed this guy some super long green beans.

King Louie and his blankie "I wanna be like you, ooooo"

Both William and Kaitlynn greatly enjoyed feeding the deer at the zoo!

Jeremy snapping photos of birds to show Josh and Springer, pretty cool creatures!

A really cool table I liked enough to take a photo lol

huge tortoises that must be super old

huge croc...Jeremy was barking at it...what are we going to do with him!?

Iguana

Made it through seeing the Chiang Mai Zoo and all the wonderful creatures there!

A boy and his daddy :)

At the beginning of the month, Kaitlynn took part in her first program at her Russian preschool.  She did great, participated, understood most of the directions, had a Russian speaking part, was the cutest Fox ever in one part, and had a short english part at the end. She danced to all the songs and seemed to have fun even though she was a tiny bit nervous with all the parents watching.

A couple of days after Kaitlynn's program, was William's. This was either his third or fourth program at school and this time he really shined.  He danced to all the songs, did his speaking part with little prompting, had several parts to play, was a king in the small English story at the end, and had a blast!! He loved it and did great!

Here he is the wind blowing in Fall.

King William who speaks with a completely foreign accent when he speaks in english at school in a play or to his english teacher (who is a local), which is super cute.

Just a random place everyone has been putting their trash...ugh..for maybe two months! There is a trash drop off place just a short walk from here! Part of the culture I've not quite adjusted to!
We visited the Tashkent Zoo before we left for Thailand since the weather was cooling down and look who we found straight from a Dr Seuss book :)

at the zoo in Tashkent

Kaitlynn was tickled because the wind from the windows was blowing her pinwheel...love her laugh!!!

This girl has learned to swing very well in the last year and love love loves to swing!!

Friends they love

One of my closest friends.  Saying "see ya later...in like a couple of months later" was tough. Love this lady and her family and she loves us well.

Another of my closest friends and her family before we left...already miss them all after only having been gone for a couple of weeks!

This lady has loved me and helped me since I could barely say hello...and now we can talk to each other's hearts as sisters...pretty cool! Love her to pieces!

We got to see the first snow fall before we left!!

icicles...those might be dangerous lol

So thankful we got to see our friend from the UK before we left.  She lost her father suddenly and was gone to be with her family for a few weeks and we are thankful she made it back safely and that we got to see her.  Praying for her and her family as they walk through the holidays with quite a void in their family.
Traveling from the tashkent airport to the plane!

We went to Snow Town in Bangkok on Thanksgiving...Thailand is a tropical climate so to find a little cool spot with snow, for thanksgiving was a treat!

Kaitlynn said "DONT TAKE MY PICTURE DADDY"

Then cheered up somehow lol

Love this guy, almost 7 years together with the last two being full of transition and culture /language learning, changing and growing, it's been crazy...and he still can make me do a real smile in a picture.

At Imaginaria, the place where kids can pretend their way to anything and anywhere!

The day after we left, our city was covered in snow!
