Jabberwocky in July

Jabberwocky, as defined by Webster, is gibberish, nonsensical speech.  It was one of the many words coined by Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
I find some pretty cool/funny things each month when I pick up the dictionary to see if I can possibly find a word to help describe the month.  This one definitely described some of our month! Plus it was near the beginning of the J's and since I have limited time, it's what I chose!

Fun games with Daddy!
This month has had great up's and down's! With Jeremy in school until late at night, William and I struggled to make it through some days.  Thankfully, our God is strong and gives us what we need when we need it.  It was also so much fun! But let's not be fake, right.  It's great fun Monday through around Wednesday evening or Thursday afternoon! By Thursday evening or Friday morning, we are tired, burnt out, out of fun games, bored with tickle time and books and every other toy we have played with during the week, and ready to see Daddy! With Daddy time, comes new games, new fun, and so many smiles!!
Some of the highlights/lowlights for the month included:

  • We got to see the new baby on an ultrasound again and this time the heart rate was higher. Praise the Lord! Everything looked good! Although, in William's 9th months of life he has no clue what having a brother or sister means, we know he is going to be an awesome big brother!
  • Some of our sweet friends kept William so we could go on a bowling date! We had fun even though I wasn't a great bowler with a 6 pound, be sure not to slip and fall, ball.  We enjoyed hanging out!
  • William was quite the chatterbox this month, hence the title of the post.  He is making all sorts of noises that we do not know how to interpret yet.  But oh how we enjoy trying.  We frequently have a running commentary in big person English going around our house. Picture Look Who's Talking but in real life.
  • Some of our sweet friends let us borrow a walking toy and William is driving that things ALL over this house.  He loves when he bumps into something and I make a noise and he especially loves when he bumps into me and I say "Ouch!".  He just gets to laughing!
  • William is standing up now...when he wants to.  He will decide it's time to try and then give a huge smile my direction as he puts his hands in the air like he is saying, "Wow, I'm this tall...are you watching, Mommy!"
  • William took his first steps this month.  Once he took three consecutive steps and then on another day he took 6! Of course, once he gets to laughing the steps stop and he falls down chuckling!
  • We got to visit with my mom for the day.  Yaya came up for a visit to play with William and they had so much fun while she was here!
  • William caught a virus and ran a fever for a few days.  Sick baby=NOT FUN!!! They don't talk about that in the baby books AT ALL!!
  • He never wants to stop! lol
William loved the piano at the Saucier's home!
  • Today is Baba's Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABA! Although none of you will receive the post until tomorrow which is Gramm's Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMM!! We love yall!
Enough Jabberwocky! Pics from July are below!

He also loved climbing under the Saucier's tables!

Fun walker!
Bumping into the couch provokes much laughter around here! As long as sound effects come with it!

Yes he is sitting on a bucket and he thought it was funny!

"Hey, This is an O for Orlich!"

Our first project! (It was actually a side project
as we were making cute footprint wrapping paper!)
Some of the marker from project
got on his face...and leg...and foot...lol

First time with BUBBLES!

He liked the bubbles!

An afternoon laughfest.  He thought the sounds I was making were hilarious!

And he was falling over laughing...

And continued his laughing...

And kept falling over in hysteria...

Tons of fun laughing...

Even ended up on his stomach laughing so hard!!
So FUN FOR MOM!!!
