May 2013

May was an awesome month for our family! Filled with lots of love! Jeremy had a break from school and we were all so super thankful for that! We got to spend tons of time with friends we've missed so much! We started off May with a little boy turning 19 months in diapers and a little girl 2 1/2 months who needed a paci to sleep and WHOA what changes happened! Kaitlynn dropped her paci habit and a few weeks later picked up sucking her thumb.  As cute as it is, and so convenient, we realize it could be a serious problem later so we try to give her her paci when she is awake now....she doesn't like it as much since it's not attached and falls out (the reason we ditched that habit to begin with lol). However, as bad of a problem as it may turn into, the little sweetie can put herself to sleep anytime, anywhere and we realized that she really likes to sleep! So much so that I had to call the doctor! This month she started sleep 10 hours at night and taking three naps a day that average 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  She had to be woken from her naps because she just love love loves to sleep....and it was really hard to wake her up....we were thinking something was wrong with her or something until we realized she just like her sleep...unless someone will talk to her.  If there is someone around to chat with she will just smile and chat away and could care less about sleeping! Just like her daddy! But the second you turn your back and she gets bored, she just rolls to her side and knocks out! It is too cute.
Then there is Mr.  William.  This little man might not talk much but boy does he have some crazy physical development going on and he loves to read so the words will come soon enough.  I had decided I wasn't ready to potty train last month after one day.  He was ready but it was just too much for me with a little baby at home too.  God had other plans and William was in on them.  We got up one morning, he pooped on the potty and never turned back to diapers.  He is an undies kinda guy, mom, hello! I know, you're probably thinking, WHO would ever rather change diapers than potty train a boy who is ready....my answer, a mom who has a 19 month old and a 3 month old who will be traveling to another country in a couple of months, that's who! I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to find a potty.  Well, come to find out, I had forgotten about the being a boy thing lol he is fine going anywhere we tell him it's ok.  Go figure! And he has really good control.  After a month in undies, he has only had 3-4 accidents and one was during a very long nap before which we didn't make him try.  Anyway, we also had a fun family reunion in May and that was awesome!
Jeremy and I had some great time together rekindling our love for one another.  We were able to get in the Word together more this month, although not as much as we need to and we got to pray together more.  Those both were answered prayers for us.  We fought a lot lol but it reminded us of the joy of being married and being able to work through our issues and reconcile.  We praise God that He gives us that joy through Jesus!  So here are some of my favorite pictures for the month:
