I see how easy it would be to forget to document my sweet number 2's fun things! I smile and laugh at all the moments but sometimes it would be so easy to just never bring that back to the computer. I would like her to be able to look back on her first year through this blog and smile at how she saw herself grow in years to come so I need to recap the month for Miss Kaitlynn Elizabeth Orlich:
*Kaitlynn turned 7 months in the middle of September!
*Toward the end of August/very beginning of September she started being able to go from laying down to sitting up all on her own.
*She had been scooting around in August but as September neared she was full blown crawling! And she loves it. She likes to crawl to the outlets, and cords, and anything that Mommy and Daddy would say "no ma'am" about lol but she also crawls to us to be held and hugged and that is so extremely sweet words cannot quite describe it for us.
*She also began pulling herself up to standing. She started in the bathtub so bath time is super interesting now and has since moved on to pulling up on the kitchen chairs and anything taller than her.
*She got her first two (bottom front) teeth in Aug and then got her top two front teeth this month!!
*She is super smiley!
*Kaitlynn loves to dance and sing with Mommy and my oh my does she love being a part of the Orlich family band!
*Her favorite friend in the whole wide world right now is her GiGi the Giraffe lovie (her daddy doesn't know I named GiGi yet :-) surprise).
*Kaitlynn absolutely loves stuffed animals and buries her face in them when she get them just loving on them and kissing on them (with thumb in mouth of course)
*She plays happily by herself for a good bit at this point and doesn't mind being in the pack n play some to play either.
*Kaitlynn is super interested in playing with her big brother and most of the time he doesn't mind much.
*She is not interested in food at all now UNLESS it can be picked up and fed to herself....Mommy is working to trust God that she will get what she needs :-)
William turns two in October and he is ALL BOY! He is testing every limit he can and is loving every step of this journey (besides discipline for disobedience, of course). He loves fire trucks, ambulances, and car and truck, but his favorites are Choo-choo trains and his favorite of all favorites is the lawn-mower. He also loves to dance and sing and has begun initiating some of our family band times. :-)
